Why did Rosa Hubermann send Liesel to drop off and pick up the laundry?

    Because she thought that she wasn't doing enough.
    Explain why Liesel might not have heard back from her mother.
    Because maybe she was in some kind of camp type thing.

    To show what hitler has brought the country.

    He says that because he is death and he knows who will die.

    after the fire was done therewas a book in the ashes leisel stole it but when she was done stealing it she realized that the mayors wife was watching her.
    What brought the narrator to visit Arthur Berg?
    His little sister died in his arms.
    Describe what happened on the last trip to the farm with the gang of thieves.
    The farmer came out when they where stealing the potatoes.

    Liesel was sent to drop off and pick up the laundry because Rosa Huberman wanted her to do something other than play socer in the streets all day.
    Explain why Liesel might not have heard back from her mother.
    Maybe because her mother didn't have enough money to send a letter, or maybe she was dead.
    What was the purpose of the bonfire on Hitler's birthday?
    The perpose was to get people to gather in one place and burn things in an exciting way, or maybe Liesels town was run by suicidal maniacs.
    Why does the narrator suggest that Hans Junior would not have much luck in the war?
    I think that the narrator means that Hans junior will not survive the war.
    Describe the events surrounding the thievery of the book from the bonfire.
    The event happened in the following order; a) there was a really big bonfire in honor of Hitler's birthday. b) After the bonfire Hans Huberman was talking to an old friend, Liesel was with him. c) Liesel saw the corners of a couple books sticking out from beneath the rubble. d) She stole a book, just before some people noticed the books and then burned them.
    What brought the narrator to visit Arthur Berg?
    His sister died, that is why the narrator visited Arthur Berg.
    Describe what happened on the last trip to the farm with the gang of thieves.
    The gang was almost cought by the farmer.
